How it works
Sign in with GoogleUsed only to reach the ebook files in your own Drive. PhonoLeaf has no separate account to create.
Choose the Drive folder your ebooks live inBrowse your Drive inside the app and pick a folder. Add more epubs to it later and they simply appear — no re-picking.

How PhonoLeaf uses your Google Drive data
PhonoLeaf asks for read-only access to Google Drive (the
drive.readonly scope). It uses that access for exactly one purpose:
to list the epub files in the folder you choose and download them so they can be
rendered and read aloud.
What PhonoLeaf never does
Never creates, edits, moves or deletes anything in your Drive — the access it holds is read-only.
Never sends your files or your Drive data to any server of ours. PhonoLeaf has no backend: your books travel from Google straight to your device.
Never uses your data for advertising, and never sells or transfers it.
Never reads anything outside the folder you connect, in normal use.
Your reading position, listening stats and settings are stored locally on your
own device, not in an account. Signing out revokes PhonoLeaf's access to your
Google account. Full detail is in the
Privacy Policy.
Where you can use it
PhonoLeaf runs in the browser on phones, tablets and desktops, and can be
installed to your home screen as an app. An Android build is currently in
private testing.
