Listen to the ebooks already in your Google Drive
Connect a folder once: that's the whole setup
If your EPUBs are sitting in a Google Drive folder, PhonoLeaf turns that
folder into an audiobook library. Connect it once, and every book in
it, including ones you add later, is ready to listen to.

What connecting a folder actually does
Read-only, always
PhonoLeaf only ever reads the folder you choose. It can't create, edit, move, or delete anything in your Drive.
New books appear automatically
Add another EPUB to the folder later and it shows up in your library on its own, with no re-picking and no re-importing.
Nothing sent to a server
PhonoLeaf has no backend for your books. Files go straight from Google Drive to your device, and the voice is generated locally.
Real covers, not placeholders
Each book's actual cover art is pulled from the file itself and cached for fast browsing.
Frequently asked questions
Does PhonoLeaf need full access to my Google Drive?
No. It asks for read-only access (the drive.readonly scope), and only ever reads the one folder you connect.
What happens if I add a new book to the folder?
It appears in your PhonoLeaf library automatically the next time you open the app, with no re-picking or re-importing.
Is my Google account data safe?
Yes. Sign-in is used only to reach the ebook files in your own Drive. PhonoLeaf has no separate account to create, and signing out revokes its access to your Google account.
How much does PhonoLeaf cost?
$5.99 a month or $49.99 a year, with a free 7-day trial.
