A calmer way to read, for dyslexia and ADHD
Built to make reading feel easier
PhonoLeaf reads the ebooks you already have aloud, in a natural voice made on
your own device. It is built to make reading feel calmer: the voice is steady,
the speed is yours, and the app keeps your place so nothing is lost when you
stop. There is no setup beyond connecting a folder, and nothing else to manage.

What makes it easier to stay with a book
Follow along as it reads
Turn on word highlighting and each word lights up in step with the voice, so your eyes and ears stay together and finding your line again is easy.
A natural voice, not a flat one
Neural, on-device speech that is markedly easier to listen to for long stretches than a standard system voice.
Reading speed you control
Anywhere from 0.5× to 2×, changed at any time without losing your place, so you can find a pace that holds attention rather than fighting it.
Never lose your place
PhonoLeaf remembers exactly where you stopped, down to the paragraph, in every book, across days.
A calm, uncluttered library
Warm paper by day, a dim forest theme at night, no ads, and nothing blinking for your attention.
It keeps going with the screen off
Playback continues when the phone is locked, so listening does not depend on holding the screen awake.
