About the natural voice
PhonoLeaf reads using one of its own natural-sounding voice models, generated entirely on your device — nothing you read is ever sent to a server to be turned into speech.
Capable devices get the Upgraded voice; other devices automatically get the Standard voice instead — PhonoLeaf picks based on how fast your device can generate speech. Only if neither can keep up, which is rare, does it briefly fall back to your phone’s Built-in voice, just so reading never stops.
